Well a dream in the making! Thanks to Nicaworks – the dome airform, special balsat rebar for 2 domes, and a bunch of tools are on their way to Nicaragua. the container got packed up today and it waiting at the port in the USA ready to ship down. We have teamed up with Nicaworks to get all the material and a work truck all shipped down, they have worked tirelessly for months, and now it’s actually happening.
We are hoping that within a month or so it will be in Nica and we can start making our first Monolithic Ecoshell Dome Homes.
I will be documenting the journey and keep track of everything on my travel website here at worldllama.com.
So AWESOME Wes! Very excited for you 😄
Great job Wes! Praying all continues to go well👍🏿Proud of you and Naomi!
Looking forward to see where God takes it!
Praise God – and, Nicaworks and Wes & None bless you for your hearts to help others. Does Nicaworks have a tax receipt society in place? Love Mom & Dad P
They do. But I haven’t spoke to them yet about filtering money through them. Also working to see if LASM can take donations for homes as well.
Woohoo!!
This is so exciting! I’m proud of you and looking forward to the updates.
My son and I are moving to Tonga in the south Pacific to start building Dome homes, almost every year Tonga gets battered by cyclones and poor people lose their homes so we hope we can God willing help many people,
That’s awesome, that is a perfect place for these things. I need to update the blog on our journey so far as well. We are now living in Nica and still trying to get it going down here. Please share your story with me I want to know how it goes and always willing to swap info as well.
Hello, I’m wondering how your dome project worked out. We are in Costa Rica and considering working with Eco shells here. Thanks! Rich
Hi, I actually am behind with this blog, we did get all the equipment into Nica, and we found a place to start the project, just we were held up by a bunch of things. I will email you directly.
